Name of Herd: The Star Herd
Name of Land: Starry Peak
Place where the herd takes place: The High Summit
Lead Stallions: Sunstone
Lieutenant Stallions: None
RP of lead stallion claiming the land: Sunstone’s hooves were pulsing on the ground, caught in a rhythm he didn’t know he was in. His footsteps made dull thuds on the hard soil of the mountain, and with every acceleration of height, his breathing became harder, but he loved it. Standing at the top, he gazed around, eyes scanning every stone, and every tree. With a sudden movement, he lifted his head up, to look at the sky. It seemed even closer up here, and that was what he cared about. With a mighty neigh that rang out melodically over and down through the mountains, echoing of rocks, he claimed this land for his own. He silently reared, but was careful, for it was very easy to slip on the smooth white rocks that blanketed the mountain. Already, his eyes seemed full of the sky, the sky he loved. Though it was beautiful in the say, he thought there was no match for the sky at night, the stars that dotted the evening sky. And that is why, for its clear view of the sky, he named the peak Starry Peak, which, if he ever decided to get a band, would be home of the Star Herd.
Picture of Land:
Description of Land: Stones cover the area, pale, almost white, and extremely smooth. Only every once in awhile are these stones interrupted by a lush field, of emerald green grass. But these meadows are small, and scarce. Most of land has pines and firs, big and small. There are a few places where there is a break and sunlight pours in, along with a spectacular view of the whole mountain and many valleys below. There are very many mountain springs, clear, cold, and very clean, that tumble and rush about, as they often are at their source. One would think no horse would dare try to walk these lands, for it is rough, and near impossible to navigate through. But fortunately, it is the stallion’s specialty, rough terrain.
