The mare had spent the wet night huddled under a grouping of trees, her frail form weak from traveling such long distances. She didn't have much more patience to travel further and so would reside next to the nearest claiming grounds. The morning was a cool one but was quickly heating up. Faith woke up to the sounds of birds crying above her. Head lifting she glanced up and pulled herself up. She was much more alert from the night's sleep.
Stepping out into the morning heat she squinted from the bright light of the sun. Lowering her muzzle to the ground she sniffed silently before repeating her actions higher up in the air. Her eyes glanced around before she shook her entire body. Her gray form was lightly coated in a layer of damp rain that had dripped onto her during the night.
With any loose drips now removed from her alert self she kicked up her hooves and without warning bolted in the direction of her destination. This mare didn't know how to take things slowly, she was bred for speed and agility and this showed clearly in the way her form sliced the the landscape, narrowly avoiding anything in her way. It took a while but her hooves slowed down their manic pace as she galloped into the lands. Nose low to the ground she knew she was in the right place. She could sense fresh smells of recent horses.
Raising her head her eyes flicked about her surroundings carefully.

Not far away, a black stallion was resting under a tree. His eyes were shut and his lip was hanging down like rubber. One of hind legs was resting on the tip of his toe on his large tan hoof. His eyelids drooped at half mast and his deep brown eyes were glazed over as he sleepily snoozed in the warm sunlight. But this dreamy bliss was not to last.
Hoof beats belonging to a horse at play brought Thunder to his senses. The stallion jerked his black head up, his eyes suddenly wide, and looked around desperately for the source of the hoof beats thudding on the grass. His eyes spotted an Arabian mare, bucking on the lawn in front of him. He breathed out and relaxed somewhat, It’s just another horse, Thunder. He though to himself, Not a cougar. Suddenly, he heard the hooves stop their excited dance. Curious, he raised his head to see what was going on, only to see the mare who had been playing so happily on the grass, looking around.
A human would clear their throat when they wanted to be heard, but Thunder, being a horse, had a different method. He sneezed loudly, blowing the air and dust out of his nose hard. Then, once he had shaken his head to rid himself of the flies which had been starting to land on his black coat, he took a step in the mare’s direction.
“Hello.” He said in his tenor voice.

The mare stopped in her movements and came to a sudden halt at the sound of another's voice. Quickly glancing up her gaze caught onto the black stallion and bowing her head quickly as a cheerful greeting. As he stepped closer Faith also matched his movement a little and moved towards him a little. Her eyes scanning the stallions form as she carefully took in the scent of the male.
"Hey." Her tones were rather cheery and friendly though she didn't move any closer. Although friendly she was still rather careful around any new form.

“Greetings.” The stallion repeated, “May I inquire as to what you may be doing on this sunny?” He asked pleasantly. He was rather large, but only average size for a Holsteiner, rising to 17.0 hands high at his withers, which blending smoothly into his wide back. His coat was blacker then a starless knight with no stars showing themselves on his black hairs. His hooves were large and powerful and his head was finely made, perfectly proportioned and set upon his great neck, which unfortunately was slightly bull necked. In his deep but soft brown eyes there glowed intelligence and plain common sense.
