Registered Name: Sunstone Nick Name: Sun Age: Seven Breed: Arabian Gender: Stallion Color: Skewbald (Brown and white pinto) Markings: Blaze Height: 15.3 hh Personality: He’s one to be called “strong and silent,” for he is not one to talk/ He can be seen as sullen, or a loner, but he does not care. Although he won’t say no to a band, he does not mind going it alone. He believes that he cares for no horse on earth and no horse on earth cares for him. He is definitely a pessimist, and he’s not afraid of a fight. History: He was raised by a brutal father who used to be a warhorse. He was weaned extremely early so he wouldn’t grow dependent on anything. His father demanded he pass several rigorous ‘tests’ before he would let the colt survive, or give him a name. Sunstone passed these. Although his mother tried to help him, she was weak, and afraid of her stallion. So she let him do whatever he wanted. While other colts played and frenzied around, Sunstone had watch duty, fought with older stallions more than twice his size, and had to do the duties of the lead mare. Sire: World’s Darkest Treasure Dam: Summertime Strawberry Foals: None Mate: None RP Sample: See Black Jewel OOC Name: Yuliya, Spirit Picture:

I noticed for height, you put 15.4 hh, which really doesn't exist because every hand is four inches, do you mean 15.3 hh? Otherwise, great job.

WEll see, I'm a math person. To me, .5 is half a hand. So I was saying is is 15.4 hands, not he is 15 hands and 4 inches.

But horses are measured in hands a hand is four inches, and the decimal number is another inch, for example,
75 inches (15 hands) and another inch would make 15.1, 75 inches and two more inches would make 15.2, 75 inches and three more inches would make 15.3, but then 75 inches and 4 inches makes 16.0 or 76 inches and zero inches, if that makes any sense, therefore it's impossible to have a horse whose decimal inch is taller then .3.
LOL, that sounder very mathematical of me....not...lol.

No, I'm pretty sure that's not what the decimals are. The decimals are the percentage of the whole four inches. 15.5 would be 15 hands two inches, 15.75 would be 15 hands three inches, and 15.4 would be 15 hands and around 1.75 inches.

No actually, they're not. It's this whole weird Greek invention which happened years ago (at least I believe it's Greek, anyway).
The whole number (the hand) is treated as the whole in this case, and the decimals are not fractions of the inches, but the inches themselves. So their would be no such thing as 15.4 hh in the world of horse measurement.

Okay then. I guess hands are unlike any other math concept I've learned.

LOL, horses and math are weird, so yes, it's just like learning new math, lol.
So do you want him to be 15.3 hh?
