Sheik shook his head with frustration.
"No." He said, "That's not what I'm saying, what I'm saying is you're not as strange as you think you are. You just don't know what's out there. For instance, who were your parents, what were they like and what did they teach you?" He questioned her. He was not keen on her residing in his 'herd', but at the same time he felt bad rejecting her, just leaving her on her own."

"My sire was Eternity of Death he was killed out of Julys because of how many mares in his herd. And my dam was Black Mist and 2 days after he was killed she jumped off a cliff." she said. She didn't mind telling him about her parents. She was an orphan when she was only 8 months old and there was no way of doubting it. It would be ok if he asked her anymore personal details. She had been through alot lately but she didnt mind telling anyone her story, or her life up to this point so far.

"Ok." Sheik said, not quite sure what her point was in her telling him this. He didn't think she was a jinx, but hey, one never knew. Feeling as though this conversation was getting somewhat strung out, he decided to cut to the chase.
"Look, how would you like to come and be a member in my herd, at Scorpio cove, we call ourselves the Scorpio Herd in honor of the place from whence we come. There perhaps you may find rest and solace until you find your stallion." His voice became gentler still, "I don't believe you are a jinx."

With a smile, Sheik turned and led the way to Scorpio Cove, his tail held high as he proudly made his way over the land at a trot, leading the mare behind him back to his seaside home, back to the small herd he was forming. There he would observe what might happen there, for Grey Mist was not the only mare now in the herd, there was the fiery Black Jewel, who was injured on account of his own stupidity.
