 The Shamrock Herd
« Thread Started on Mar 11, 2008, 8:18pm »

Name of Herd: Shamrock Herd
Name of Land: Clover Clearing
Place where the herd takes place: (example: The Mountains)
Lead Stallions: Lord Sukru
Lutenient Stallions:None yet
RP of lead stallion claiming the land: Strong limbs carried the buckskin stallion swiftly through the trees. This was Sukru and he was seeking a home. So far, nothing in the forest was suitable for a herd. Once there were foals, how were they supposed to frolick and run if they were surrounded by trees? Now if he could only find a clearing, that might be promising. And then suddenly, the trees stopped and he found himself standing in a decent sized clearing. Maybe horses would be able to settle here. He slowly walked around, stepping carefully as if he thought that the whole thing was an illusion that might shatter before his eyes if he stepped on the ground to hard. He spied a stream on one side of the clearing and a patch of clover and wildflowers on the other side of the clearing filled it with a pleasant aroma. He inhaled the scent deeply and gave a contented sigh. He gave a short scream to tell any that were nearby that he was claiming the turf for himself and his future herd and disappeared into the trees to set up the boundaries.

Description of Land:A clearing in the forest that only has a few bushes. The boundaries extend beyond the clearing and into the trees which is also where the horses of the herd sleep. The growth here is lush and for unexplained reasons there always seems to be mist in the clearing and impairing the sunlight slightly. There is a small stream on one edge of the clearing that is shallow enough for a newborn foal to wade across and other parts of the clearing are filled various wildflowers giving the place a pleasant smell. Almost the entire floor of the clearing is covered in clovers leaving the grass to grow between the trees giving the clearing its name.
